On july 14th, 1992, a match was held. Another edition of the Uruguayan Derby, Peñarol against Nacional in the Estadio Centenario. The match was a horrible 0-0 with 5 red cards and the two coaches expelled too, but that isn't why that match is remembered.
On one of the ocassion, Carlos ''El Tío'' Sánchez jumped against Dely Valdez and when they touched the ground Carlos had a gold chain in his hand, which belonged to Dely.
After the incident, Dely confronted Carlos to ask for his chain back and he told him that he wouldn't give it back, just to mess with him and take him out the match.
Before the match concluded, Pintos Saldaña (a Nacional player) enter the field just to fight Carlos and a massive brawl sparked against the two teams, which finished when ''El Chifle'' Barrios (Peñarol Player) told Jorge Seré (Nacional's captain) that Carlos will give the chain when the two teams were heading to the dressing rooms.
Carlos didn't do that and Dely went to the police to report the incident and they ended up in the jury with Carlos giving the chain back and regretting that action for the rest of his life.

BONUS Cult Story:
It was end of August 2013 when Ergotelis fans was waited at Heraklion airport, Alvaro Mejia footballer to join the team. But before his airplane reaches to Heraklion, one tourist with his wife arrived with similar face to Alvaro Mejia. So fans welcomed him instead of real Alvaro Mejia, and they singed the chant "Alvaro Mejia kali epityxia" which at English meaning "Alvaro Mejia good luck". They also gave flowers to his wife. The tourist and his wife felt embarassed but they continued to smile to Ergotelis fans! After some minutes they understood and asked him "you are not Alvaro?". Fortunately the end of this cult story was happy. Real Alvaro Mejia arrived and he got the flowers.
